The Global Cleanup Games (or the GCG) is a very simple, practical concept, bringing an upgrade to the way we view trash and at our relationship with it. We upgrade the software on our phones, and even the phones themselves, so why not add a small tweak to our approach to waste? We need it: if nothing changes in our demeanor, the oceans will contain more plastic than fish by weight by 2050.

The GCG comes with new terms, a new way of thinking, and playful strategies for engagement, such as very simple eco-challenges, with invitations to collaborate and play, and hopefully with a new Olympic sport by 2028!
