💬 One Chat at the Camp
The One Chat section is used before and/or after cleanups to reflect on rules and ideas for Trash Pickup as a new Olympic sport.
Discussions can also include:
- Is the Global Cleanup Movement strong enough 365/365?
- Do daily cleanups have global visibility or not yet?
- Climate anxiety and how to overcome it.
- Terraform Mars or help Earth first?
- Oceans may contain more plastic than fish by 2050. What can we do?
- To make the Trash Olympics real we have to want it + talk about it. Agree? Disagree?
- Trash Olympics = a normal stage of evolution in sports, given the global context. Agree? Disagree?
- April 6th is International Day of Sport for Development and Peace. Name sports that best fit the description, and why is that?
- How is Trash Olympics different from the Trash Pickup World Cup?
Optional Upgrade 1: after each activity, participants briefly capture “one idea I heard today” to preserve creativity.
Optional upgrade 2: each day a different participant (or more) can take a light leadership role (micro-leader) for One Chat or other type of GCG coordination. Another person takes notes = is the journalist of the day, etc.
