Another photo shows Earth Bingo in the making. New Yorkers played a modified version of Bingo – which is something fun that can be done in class. Each time a person pulls out a Bingo ball, they think of one small eco-action in response to the 1 in 8 bi11ion question, which will be attached to that number from then on. This is an engaging way to create, together, a list of simple eco-upgrades most of us could do. Students can then pick one form of peaceful, personal eco-progress from an extensive list, and even continue adding more actions over time, since the process is playful rather than a forced task.
