The challenge should also travel through the platforms people already use to communicate and organize:
A participant might say:
“Hey, I joined the Trash Athlete Challenge!”
Then share their photo, invite friends, remind the group to participate, or organize a local Trash Mob.
The difference is that these conversations can be private, semi-private, or community-based. Messages can become buried, and people outside the group generally cannot see the entire collection.
So the platforms mentioned here are not less important.
